The Estate of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil present the World Premiere this Sunday night of Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour in Montreal at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
This show consists of more than 30 songs of Michael Jackson including few songs he was working on at the time of his death in 2009. It’s a thought that “The Immortal World Tour” would be the most expensive road production in the history of Cirque du Soleil.
According to Cirque du Soleil-CEO Daniel Lamarre the Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour is, “as close as you can get to a rock concert,” claiming the audience will think “Michael Jackson is alive,” with the help of 3D and holographic video technology. I had a chance to catch the worldwide premiere of The IMMORTAL and put Cirque du Soleil’s claims to the test.
Jamie King is the one who wrote and directed this show; the Jamie has worked with great artist in this music industry like Madonna, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera over the years and who had also created choreography for Jackson in the past.
