From 1995-2008, the Denver Broncos were under the guidance of Head Coach Mike Shanahan, who led the team to numerous playoff appearances and back-to-back Super Bowl titles in 1997 and ’98. But the retirement of quarterback John Elway following Super Bowl XXXIII was one of many reasons the franchise hasn’t recaptured championship glory. Fast forward to the John Fox Era as the former Carolina Panthers head coach has led the team to consecutive AFC West titles the last two years.

In 2012 the addition of quarterback Peyton Manning made for big headlines, but the former Colts’ quarterback and the team stumbled to a 2-3 start. But the Broncos caught fire and won their final 11 games to capture the top seed in the AFC with a 13-3 record. Manning set a new franchise record with 37 touchdown passes and the Denver defense finished second in the NFL in yards allowed. But it all went for naught as the team lost at home in the Divisional Playoffs in double overtime to the Baltimore Ravens

In 2013 if Manning is to become the first starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two different franchises, the Broncos need to get more from their running game, which was 16th in the NFL last season. And the Broncos need a little more help defensively; hence the additions of cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Eagles) and defensive tackle Terrance Knighton (Jaguars). They won their third in a row AFC West Division title. They made it to the playoffs but were not able win from Seahawks.

In 2014 as last two seasons, they were able to set several league, franchise and individual records. Which includes wide receiver Demaryius Thomas set record for receiving yards in a single season and NFL’s all time leader title to Peyton Manning most career touchdown passes. Indianapolis Colts defeated Broncos in the Divisional round of the playoffs but media reports said that Manning had a quadriceps strain. Any how they still won 4th in a row AFC West Division title, AFC’s number two seed and a first round bye. But unfortunately lost for the third time in the Divisional round of the playoffs, in four seasons. Watch Broncos play this season by booking your Cheap Denver Broncos ticket from Askaticket.
