With quarterback Peyton Manning at the helm for more than a decade, the Indianapolis Colts had few problems racking up points, winning games and reaching the playoffs. Under head coach Tony Dungy, the franchise would go onto win Super Bowl XLI and three years later with Jim Caldwell, reached Super Bowl XLIV. But there was no Manning on the field in 2011 following numerous neck surgeries and the organization opted in 2012 to go in a different direction, basically from top to bottom. Colts Tickets are available at unbelievable price.

In 2012 General manager Ryan Grigson did a great job last April, adding quarterback Andrew Luck with the first overall pick and five other selections (tight ends Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener, wideouts T.Y. Hilton and LaVon Brazill and running back Vick Ballard) who all contributed. The six rookies combined for 22 of the team’s 40 touchdowns. Add in the coaching of Bruce Arians in place of Chuck Pagano (the latter diagnosed with leukemia) and the inspiring Colts went from 2-14 to 11-5 and the playoffs.

In 2013 after finishing just one game behind the AFC South champion Houston Texans (12-4) this past season, Pagano and company hope to continue their rise in 2013. The team has added a lot of new faces via free agency to a defensive unit that had its issues a year ago. Amongst the newcomers are outside linebacker Erik Walden (Packers), safety LaRon Landry (Jets) and nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin (Chargers). The Colts were 26th in total defense and managed only 15 takeaways in 16 games in 2012. Undefeated in the division they maintained their record of 11-5. They won their Wild Card game against Chiefs 45-44. Sadly was defeated by the Patriots in Divisional playoffs.

In 2014 third season led by head coach Chuck Pagano. Second time they won their division title defeating Texans in week 15, 17-10. For the second consecutive year they went 6-0 in their division. But unfortunately they lost the AFC Championship Game from New England Patriots.
